It was cold, too cold for springtime. Some went as far as saying it would also be too cold if it was winter. He agreed with them. White nothingness surrounded him, as if he was stranded in an empty world bereft of all colors. No landmarks where to be seen. No trees, no mountains, even the ground was a perfect plane. And all around him this strange fog. He took the pendant he always wore around his neck in his hand and looked at it, a faint smile showing on his usually stern face. The amulet's core was a blue gemstone that glowed with an inner fire, making it look almost alive. It was set in a filigree silver bezel sporting complex patterns.

New Year's Journal

Oh, yeah, I'm pretty late with this stuff, but anyways. I hadn't had any internet (because I was away) and I don't update my journal all that often, so bear with it. I hope you all had a nice first week into 2012! One of my new year's resolves for this year is to post updates on the The Path of Light and The Star Scorpions more regularly. I don't know how well that'll go, but you can expect some planning material for the Path of Light in the next couple days to shorten the time until Chapter 3 is done (I'm already halfway through, seriously! >.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I have finally been released from university stress, even if only for a mere two weeks. I'll use this time for some writing! If I can beat down my inner procrastinator, that is.
